SIGI Mission Surpasses One Year
with IQ spacecom XLink Transceivers

SUCCESSFULLY SUPPORTING REFLEX AEROSPACE'S SIGI MISSION WITH IQ SPACECOM XLINK SDR TRANSCEIVERS BEYOND THE PLANNED YEAR OF OPERATION

MARCH 12, 2026

We are proud to announce that the SIGI satellite mission of our esteemed customer Reflex Aerospace has successfully completed its planned one-year operational phase in orbit. Even now, the satellite remains fully active and operational, demonstrating the robustness and effectiveness of our technology in real-world conditions.

Launched in January 2025 as part of a rideshare mission, SIGI was designed to support advanced in-orbit applications that demand dependable communication links. The mission’s communication subsystem relies on IQ spacecom’s XLink-S and XLink-X transceivers, which provide stable, high-performance data transmission throughout the satellite’s operational journey in space.

“We have been very happy with IQ spacecom’s XLink transceivers on our first satellite mission. Integration was seamless, the support throughout the project was excellent, and most importantly, the modules are proving to be robust and reliable in orbit.” said Felix Motzki, CTO of Reflex Aerospace.

ABOUT THE SIGI MISSION

The SIGI mission is a satellite project developed and operated by Reflex Aerospace in cooperation with MBS. Designed to enable experimentation, technology validation, and advanced in-orbit operations, SIGI entered orbit in January 2025 and has since then completed its planned one-year mission phase with continued satellite activity.

The mission supports a range of in-orbit applications, emphasizing reliable data exchange between the spacecraft and ground systems: a capability enabled by the integration of high-performance SDR communication hardware.
