S-Net: 5 Years successfully in Space
The S-Net mission with IQ spacecom technology on board was launched by the Technical University of Berlin in 2018.
TU Berlin has been at the forefront of research and demonstration of inter-satellite communication technology in a distributed and autonomous network of four nanosatellites. For this purpose, the S-band transceiver SLink with 100 kbit/s Inter-Satellite-Link and 1 Mbit/s downlink capability, well suited for nanosatellites, was developed by IQ spacecom in cooperation with the TU Berlin.
